Yesterday was my birthday and part of enjoying it was continuing to dive into my friend John Swann's fourth installment in his new Charlie Chan series, which I highlighted earlier this summer, and will do so again with this great conversation. Once upon a time my boss at WIBX radio in Utica, N.Y. he is a multi-talented man whose most recent journey is as the author of the Charlie Chan revival detective stories.
