Memories by the Thousands
A special night at the K this evening as Denny Matthews is honored as he broadcasts his 8,00th Royals game. We'll hear great stories from his Thursday press conference, as well as the full life's journey from our full KC Profiles chat from a few years back. A baseball life explored with his trademark honesty and dry wit. Enjoy!
A Remarkable and Unusual Hall of Fame Story
Denny Matthews played college football after never playing in high school, and his first baseball game on the radio was in the major leagues. Just two examples of a remarkable and fascinating life story we visit here with the fifty plus year voice of the Kansas City Royals.
